Kudu Lodge

Located amidst eleven acres of green land in Karatu, the property is home to a variety of birds. It promises tranquil hospitality. There is a dining area with African as well as international cuisines. You can also enjoy the sumptuous meals in the outdoor seating areas where evening entertainment programs are set up. The bar has a beautiful decor with a fireplace to warm yourself when the temperature is cool. You may also relax in the veranda or a garden chair while taking in your peaceful surroundings. The outdoor swimming pool is another place much loved by the guests after a long safari day.

Located on a rolling countryside in Karatu, the lodge is just a 20 minutes drive from Lodoare gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

There are three types of free standing bungalows:

Serengeti suites These are spacious suites with clean comfortable beddings wrapped with mosquito nets, a work desk, seating area with fireplace, upholstered armchairs with footstools and en-suite bathroom.

Tembo family houses These are 2-3 bedroom family houses with their own gardens, larger lounge, larger bathrooms and fireplace.

Ruaha rondavels These are large bungalows with a huge room, big bathroom, lounge, work desk and fireplace.

The lodge offers amazing views of the countryside and the gardens with birds singing from huge trees nearby. The sunset views over Ngorongoro hills are much loved by guests.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.

The food has been rated well by most clients. Special diet menus are also available if intimated beforehand.
