The lodge is built on 500 acres of coffee plantation outside Karatu main town. There is a restaurant and leisure area where you can warm yourself around the fireplace every afternoon while munching on delicious snacks. The rooms are elegantly designed to include modern amenities. The outdoor swimming pool is great for relaxation and the gift shop allows you to buy souvenirs for loved ones.

Located in Karatu, the lodge is just 15 minutes drive away from Lodoare gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Staying at Farm House Valley

There are standard rooms with the capacity of 2-3 guests or interconnected rooms with 3-5 guests.

The chalet type rooms (30) are spacious with clean, comfortable single beds(2) or double beds, mosquito nets, mineral water, room service, tea/coffee maker, phone, a bathroom with shower and a private balcony with wonderful views.

Views

The private balconies in every room offer beautiful views of the coffee plantation and garden. You also get good views of Oldeani gorge in the Rift Valley. The restaurant allows you to enjoy a sunlit breakfast/candlelit dinner under the stars.

Watch out for

The lodge is outside the parks, so the entrance gates may be fairly nearer but it will take some time to reach areas with more wildlife concentration.
