Bougainvillea Safari Lodge

This is a simple lodge with homely accommodations and delicious meals nestled in the outskirts of Karatu. The whole area is carefully designed with lush green gardens and beautiful flora frequently visited by butterflies and birds. There is an outdoor pool where you can relax after a long day.

The lodge is easily accessible from Lake Manyara national park. Manyara airport is 18 km away.

There are 32 cottages wherein 10 rooms have been designed as 5 double cottages located in the coffee garden while the rest are placed around the swimming pool. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy, there is a bathroom with shower, fireplace, veranda, and a dressing area. Two cottages have connecting rooms.

Twin, double, triple as well as family accommodations are available.

There are no great views in the lodge. However, the green gardens have a calming effect. It is a good place to stay and relax at the start or end of Ngorongoro/Serengeti visit.

None - This accommodation is not in the wilderness so do not expect to see/hear any wildlife during your time at this place.
