Simba + Oryx Nature Camp

Located outside Maasai Mara National Park, Simba + Oryx Nature Camp is a sustainable tented lodge having adequate spacing between the tents to offer utmost privacy. The floor-to-ceiling glass front allows the guests to catch interrupted views of wildlife from the comfort of their tents. The restaurant also has a glass front facing the park. On cooler evenings, you may sit beside a bonfire set up inside the bar.

Due to the proximity of the lodge to the park's entrance gate, you can easily reach good game viewing areas.

The lodge is just 3 minute’s drive away from Ololaimutiek gate of Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Olkiombo airstrip is 1 hour 20 minutes drive away.

There are a total of 10 tents with their own solar panels for hot water and electricity. A normal tent has 2 beds while the three honeymoon tents accommodate couples with their own living area and veranda. All the rooms have glass sliding doors which enable them to obtain wider views.

Single, double and triple rooms are available.

The camp offers amazing views of the vast Mara plains which are especially stunning during sunset hours. There might be zebras grazing on the lodge grounds. You might also see/hear hyenas and lions at night.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
