Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge

Nestled against Ngorongoro forest with views over a coffee plantation between the villages of Karatu and Rhotia, the lodge offers en-suite cottages and a common area consisting of a bar, lounge, dining area and reception with a large veranda outside. There is also a gift shop to buy souvenirs for loved ones.

The lodge is just 16 km away from Lake Manyara airport.

The interiors have been decorated with hand crafted furniture, large, clean and comfortable beds, a fireplace, seating area, indoor and outdoor shower, a bathtub, work desk with chair and ample closet space. There is a private veranda where guests can relax and enjoy the surrounding views while sipping a cup of coffee.

There are 10 double cottages wherein each room has a king-sized bed and an additional queen bed accommodating twin or double occupancy. In addition, there are 3 family rooms with interconnecting rooms accommodating upto six people in each suite.

The lodge offers amazing views of the coffee plantations as well as the surrounding forests. This is much enjoyable from your own private verandas. The swimming pool also offers amazing views of the jungle. The large veranda in the main building with views of the swimming pool, guest rooms and spa is another place where you can relax as you enjoy the evening cocktails.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night
