Escarpment Luxury Lodge

The Escarpment Luxury Lodge is set amidst the African bushland, a dark, beautiful gorge as the backdrop. The area is surrounded by different species of flora and fauna. There are elegant rooms with en-suite facilities, an outdoor swimming pool with a pool-side bar, a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs for loved ones, spa and massage. In the evenings, sometimes a campfire is set up outside the main building where the Maasai warriors sing and dance bringing the night alive.

At a distance of 15 minutes drive from Lake Manyara entrance gate, the lodge is located outside the national park.

The floors are laid out with hardwood, the furnishings are antique, handcrafted artifacts are used for decorations and leather sofas are arranged for comfortable seating. There is a bathtub, double basin, vanity space, outdoor shower, hairdryer and telephone in each room. The private balconies are much loved by guests as you can relax here and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

There are 16 luxury rooms in total consisting of single, double and triple sharing rooms. And they can accommodate around 40+ guests.

The rooms are spread amidst the greenery beside the Rift valley gorge. It offers amazing views of the escarpment. The private balconies in every room are especially equipped to let you relax while enjoying the view of a wide variety of birds and animals passing through. The pool area offers a good view of Lake Manyara while the public deck overlooks the gorge itself.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
