Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge

Mto Wa Mbu escarpment as the backdrop, the lodge with its beautiful decor and en-suite facilities is surrounded by the rich wildlife of Lake Manyara national park. It has an outdoor pool with a pool-side bar, a dining room with bar, an outdoor terrace dining and a bush dinner site within the property. Your night here ends with a festive performance of music and dance! Moreover, the park safari is easily accessible from the location.

Located to the north of Lake Manyara national park, the lodge is just 5 minutes drive away from Manyara airport and 15 minutes drive from Lake Manyara entrance gate.

• Standard room The standard rooms are double-storied, circular, with conical thatched roof and whitewash, a veranda. They consist of traditional Maasai handwoven beads with pink and blue hues reflecting the flamingos and the lake respectively. There is a handwoven rug hanging above the bed. Room amenities suxh as a desk, chair, safe, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, bath amenities, coffee/tea making station are also provided.

• Losmingori suite This suite is decorated in hues of pink and blue with en-suite facilities such as a marble bathroom, a dressing area, a seating area, telephone, a TV, a stocked mini-fridge, a balcony with wine and fruit laid out to welcome guests, a desk, chair, safe, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, coffee/tea station, and a private access.

The Standard room has twin beds and double beds. Triple sharing is also available as per request. The Losmingori suite has a king-sized bed.

Since the lodge is sitting atop a hill, the standard rooms overlooking the cliff offer beautiful views. The Losmingori suite offers good views of the infinity pool as well as Losmingori mountain and Lake Manyara at a distance. The pool area also gives an open view of the African vastlands below. The sunrise, sunset view from the lodge is particularly enchanting. The bush dinner within the premises with its campfire is astounding. Your food is prepared on the charcoal stove as you sip a glass of cocktail with beautiful views of the escarpments and the lake under the glazing night sky. You will find a wide variety of birds and animals such as warthogs, elephants and monkeys in and around the property.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
