Ziwa Bush Lodge

This boutique lodge set amidst indigenous flora and fauna offers a tranquil stay for all those who pay it a visit after a long day of safari at Lake Nakuru National Park. Set up in a secluded area fairly close to the park, it overlooks a small lake. It was started with the intention of supporting a charity organization. The property sets aside 3 % of each booking for this specific purpose.

The swimming pool gives a nice touch as pool parties can be organized here. You may also indulge yourself in a game of volleyball. Additionally, there is a playground for children to play in.

Although the lodge does not offer high-end services and can do with some necessary refurbishment, it is a decent accommodation with an average pricing.

Located outside Lake Nakuru National Park, the lodge is only 45 minutes drive to the west of its entrance gate.

There are 3 standard rooms and 7 standalone executive cabins. Made up of canvas, local stone and makuti roofing, all the rooms have been furnished using locally crafted wooden items (cedar furniture made by Kenyans in and around Nakuru). They offer amenities such as clean & comfortable beddings, work desk, lamps, wardrobe, seating area and much more.

Three twin rooms, six double rooms and one family room is available.

Views over the nearby lake from the private verandas are calming and beautiful. It is visited by several species of birds which is especially enjoyed by naturalists.
