Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Located on the banks of Lake Naivasha, Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort promises a much needed change in pace as compared to the other stays nearby. All the buildings have been placed wide apart so as to conserve the trees grown here. Other than the guest rooms, the property features two swimming pools with a kid's area, a snack kitchen and bar which are all great for proper relaxation. Guests also have access to conference rooms with six different meeting areas, stables and a tennis court. In addition, there is a gift shop to buy souvenirs for loved ones.

Located in the southeast corner of Lake Naivasha, the lodge is a 20 minutes drive from Hell’s gate.

There are a total of 82 rooms wherein each cottage has 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the top floor. These crescent shaped cottages are built using stone walls. Wrought iron on the banister goes right up to the top with bougainvilleas and creepers entwined around them.

Other than the two rooms, the ground floor has a sunken living room which opens out into the beautiful lawn.

The top floor has a balcony made of wrought iron railing adorned with some matching furniture.

All the rooms provide telephones, TVs, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, large frontal windows and verandas to catch the views outside.

6 out of 21 cottages have interconnecting rooms on the ground floor. Ground floor rooms have two queen size beds while the top floor has king size beds.

The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens. You might find waterbucks, zebras and giraffes passing through. From the dock, you may see hippos and eagles.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
