Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is set amidst a vibrant acacia grove beside a gentle spring inside Amboseli National Park. The rooms are small and provide basic amenities but there is a palm shaded swimming pool inside the lodge which is great for relaxation after a long day of game drive.

The restaurant opens into an elegant garden where you can play, run around or sunbathe. Interestingly, the property has its own reforestation programme wherein you can plant a sapling and do your bit. There is also a gift shop and business center to buy souvenirs for loved ones back home.

Located at the heart of Ambroseli National Park, the lodge is just 15 minutes drive away from Amboseli airstrip and 20 minutes from the entrance gate.

All the rooms are single-storeyed structures opening onto open grounds. The interiors are decorated with local artifacts representing fabled warriors, depicting harmony with nature. There are a total of 92 rooms plus a suite featuring 24*7 service, wifi and a balcony. 9 interconnecting rooms are also included.

Ol Donyo Oibor Suite The rooms offer clean & comfortable beddings, en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi & shower, bathrobe, separate seating area, tea/coffee maker, work desk & chair, AC, satellite TV, butler, mini-bar and a rooftop terrace.

Single, double, triple and family rooms are available.

The lodge offers amazing views of Amboseli’s vast open plains as well as wild animals which can be viewed from the outdoor eating area, pool as well as your own private balconies.

The gardens offer beautiful views of Mt Kilimanjaro.

You might catch views of monkeys roaming inside the grounds.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
