Burudika Manyara Lodge

Overlooking Lake Manyara and Rift valley escarpment, the lodge is set with beautiful bandas (Swahili for bungalow, chalet or standing house) designed with an elegant interior decor resonating true African flavors while the restaurant dramatically rests under a huge baobab tree with wide open areas.

In addition to park fees of Lake Manyara national park, a statutory fees (WMA fees) of $29.5 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

The lodge is located on the north eastern side of the lake, outside the park and about 3 minutes drive away from the entrance gate.

There are 19 bandas in total consisting of singles, doubles, triples, and family rooms.

The rooms offer comfortable wooden beds woven with sisal ropes, canvas windows with mosquito netting, a desk, mosquito net around the bed, and reclining chair in a private veranda. The rooms have en-suite facilities such as a separate toilet, shower, basin, toiletries, towels, slippers and much more.

The restaurant, lodge grounds and the rooms with their private balconies offer incredible views of the eastern rift valley escarpment as well as Lake Manyara. You might also find animals such as gazelles, zebras, wildebeests plus a large number of bird species.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.

The food has been rated well by most clients. There are kid-friendly meals also available.
