Africa Safari Lake Manyara

Located on the foothills between Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Lake Manyara national park, there are several wild animals present in the premises at all times making this a Game Controlled Area (GCA). There are different types of rooms to match your requirements. There is also a swimming pool near the main building. The spa & wellness center is another great place to revive yourself after a long day.

In addition to park fees of Lake Manyara national park, a statutory fees (WMA fees) of $29.5 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

Located north of Lake Manyara, the lodge is just 15 minutes drive away from the entrance gate of Lake Manyara national park.

• Safari Comfort (14 tents) - Each room can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 guests.
• Safari Luxury Glamping (10 tents) - Each room can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 or 6 guests depending upon room set-up.
• Premium Bungalow (3 tents) - Each room can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 or 5 guests depending upon room set-up.
• Safari Tent (3 tents) - Each room can accommodate up to a maximum of 2 guests.

There are 4 room types: - Safari Comfort These are luxurious tents with a king-size bed, single bed. An extra bed can be placed upon request. There is an indoor, outdoor seating area. There is a lot of cupboard space and a semi-permanent bathroom with a washbasin, walk-in shower and a toilet, mosquito nets. - Safari Luxury Glamping A luxury canvas accommodation with different bed set-ups. First one has a king- sized bed, 2 bunk beds, a seating area, shower, washbasin, toilet, charging points, mosquito nets, balcony and a kitchenette. The second one has a king-sized bed where an extra bed can be placed as per request. There is a washbasin, shower, toilet, charging point, mosquito net and balcony. Both have tea and coffee facilities. - Premium Bungalow These are permanent structures with two different room set-ups. The first type has a king-sized bed with an extra bed as per request. There is a shower, washbasin, toilet, charging point, tea & coffee facilities, mosquito net and a balcony with lake view. The second type has a king-sized bed with 3 single beds. It has a washbasin, shower, toilet, charging point, mosquito net, tea & coffee facilities, balcony with a lake view. - Safari tent Located at a close distance from the pool, the Safari tents overlook the entire property, are private and are basic but cozy obtained at low cost. There is a shared toilet and shower with hot water, a sitting area in front and 2 single beds inside.

You might get to see wild animals like zebras, hippos, wildebeests and monkeys around the property. The restaurant has been built on the edges of the park, where you might get to see wildlife along with the Maasai grazing their cattle - sheeps, goats and cows crossing the corridor. Also, the restaurant looks over the expanse of Lake Manyara where you might see different species of birds like flamingos passing by.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.

The food has been rated good by most clients. There are buffets and a-la-carte menu with local as well as international cuisines. Dietary meals like Halal, kosher, vegetarian or vegan food will also be served upon request.
