Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp

Surrounded by ancient granite towers which are as old as three million years old, this tented lodge in the central region of Serengeti national park is made of thatched roofs and built on stone platforms, on the path to one of the busiest corridors for wildebeest migration. It features spacious guest tents, a dining area plus a scenic bar adorned by a stone terrace. The outdoor firepit is much loved by guests as they warm themselves before heading on to enjoy their bush dinner. There is also a gift shop which enables you to buy souvenirs for loved ones.

In addition to park fees of Central Serengeti national park, a statutory fees (Camping fees) of $59 to $70.8 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

The lodge is just an hour's drive away from Seronera airstrip.

All the rooms can accommodate two queen beds.

There are 16 tents offering two clean & comfortable queen beds, an en-suite bathroom with double basins, shower and flush toilets, and an outdoor seating area to enjoy the surrounding views.

The lodge offers amazing views of the African plains. You might see/hear animals like elephants, buffaloes, zebras, lions, baboons and many more around the camp.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
