Farm of Dreams

The lodge is set amidst Jacaranda trees, beautiful vibrant flowers and an organic vegetable farm on the south western slopes of Ngorongoro crater 1,400 ft above sea level. There is a restaurant/bar located in the main building that offers a-la-carte as well as buffet meals with a variety of beverage options. There is a conference/banquet hall for conducting organizational meetings. The property also manages a swimming pool which is much loved by guests.

Located in Karatu, the lodge is just 30 minutes drive away from Lodoare entrance gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and 17 km from Lake Manyara airport.

There are single, twin, double and triple sharing accommodations available.

The lodge is home to 12 villages with 40 standard suites and 8 family suites made of banana thatched roofs. All the rooms are set up with clean, cozy beddings offering en-suite facilities such as a western commode, washbasin, shower and toiletries. There is a telephone, work desk, seating area and a private balcony offering wonderful views.

The lodge offers amazing views of the sweeping hills nearby. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the garden and the reserve as you hear vibrant birds singing from huge Jacaranda trees. Private bush dinner with a pool view is much enjoyed by guests.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.

The food has been rated well by most clients. The dishes are prepared using local organic seasonal ingredients and you have the option of a-la-carte as well as buffet meals with themed nights throughout the week. Barbeque and Swahili menus are available.
