In April, Zanzibar typically experiences warm and humid weather, as it is part of the long rainy season. Historical averages indicate that daily temperatures range from about 24°C (75°F) at night to around 30°C (86°F) during the day.

Rainfall in April is considerable, with averages around 200-300 mm (8-12 inches) for the month. April often sees heavy showers, especially in the afternoons and evenings. The humidity is high, which can make it feel warmer than the actual temperature. Overall, while April can be quite wet, it remains a warm month ideal for those who don't mind the rain and wish to experience the lush landscapes that emerge during this season.
