Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi. Afternoon game drives.
Depart Dar es Salaam for Mikumi National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and more. Look out for the majestic greater Kudu, graceful wildebeest, and elusive leopards. The park is also home to tree-climbing lions, wild hunting dogs, and black-backed jackals. Enjoy a thrilling game drive upon arrival, soaking in the beauty of the savannah until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Hike to Sanje waterfalls(3-4 hours).
Mikumi to Udzungwa mountains. Hike to the Sanje Waterfalls, the highest waterfall in the Udzungwa mountains. Take a refreshing dip in the pools of the waterfalls and lookout for birds and animals in this unique wild habitat. Baboons and vervet monkeys are often seen and encounter of amphibians, birds might be possible. Stay at Udzungwa.
Day 3: Udzungwa to Ruaha.
After breakfast start the journey to Ruaha National Park. Arrive and stay at Ruaha.
Day 4: Ruaha. Full-day game drives.
After breakfast you will have full day game drive to explore the beautiful of the park, with its full of rocky, kopjes and ancient baobab trees.
Day 5: Ruaha. Full-day game drives.
One more day at Ruaha for game drives to explore the park.
Day 6: Ruaha (Walking Safari - 3 to 4 hours) and transfer to Mikumi.
