1. What do you mean by the term Green Season? Tanzania goes through a period known as Short Rains from the end of October till December. 6. Is there any specific activity that you would recommend doing during this month? We would recommend travelling to Southern Serengeti and Ndutu to get a look at the Wildebeest calving. It is a unique phenomena where Wildebeests synchronise their birthing and thousands of babies are born everyday. In the month of February, the calving reaches its peak and about 8,000 baby wildebeests are born everyday. It would truly be a remarkable sight to view for wildlife enthusiasts.
