This itinerary includes Maasai Mara National Reserve (2N), renowned for the Big Five, big cat sightings and the Great Migration (July-October); followed by a transfer to Lake Nakuru (1N), famous for its pink-hued flamingos and as a sanctuary for black and white rhinos; then a transfer to Lake Naivasha (1N), a serene freshwater lake known for boat safaris, birdlife, and sightings of hippos along its shores; then a transfer to Amboseli National Park (2N), iconic for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro; then a transfer to Tsavo East (1N), known for its vast open plains, red-dust elephants, and dramatic landscapes, before transferring back to Nairobi.

Day 3 (February 03, 2026) - Transfer from Masai Mara (No game drives) to Lake Nakuru
Day 4 (February 04, 2026) - Half day game drives in Lake Nakuru and transfer to Lake Naivasha
Day 5 (February 05, 2026) - Boat ride to and Walking tour in Crescent Island and transfer to Amboseli
Day 6 (February 06, 2026) - Full day game drives in Amboseli

  • Morning game drives in Masai Mara can be added on the last morning at the park by paying additional park fees.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your tour starts with pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge.
Note: The last 1-hour drive to Masai Mara is on the corrugated and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for clients with back problems. Clients with back problems can consider flying directly to (and out of) Masai Mara.

Day 2 - Masai Mara

We depart at 6:30 AM after breakfast on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt/kill). Later around 10:30 AM, return to accommodation for a break and relax for a bit and after lunch, depart on an afternoon game drivea round 3:00 PM till around 6:00 PM. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Around 10:00 AM after a relaxed breakfast checkout and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park which is about 5 hours drive from Mara gate. Upon reaching Nakuru lodge check in, have dinner and relax for the day.
Note 1: Morning game drives in Masai Mara can be added on the last morning at the park by paying additional park fees.

Day 4 - Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After early breakfast, proceed for morning game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park and continue till around noon. Post lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 - Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

Start your day with a Boat Ride to Crescent Island where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes and many types of birds. Return back to your camp/lodges in Naivasha and check out.
Start your drive to Amboseli with en route lunch. Upon reaching Amboseli, you can check in to the camp/lodge and relax and unwind for the day.
Day 6 - Amboseli

After breakfast, depart for morning game drives around 7:00 AM and continue till about 10:30 AM. Return back to camp to relax and have lunch and then in the afternoon around 3:00 PM proceed for afternoon game drives for 3 hours and return to camp before 6:30 PM.

Note: Since Amboseli is relatively hot, game drives around noon are not usually recommended but can be arranged if you are interested.


Day 7 - Amboseli to Tsavo East

You can start the day with an early morning game drive to explore more of Amboseli’s wildlife. The early morning is a great time to see animals and enjoy the beautiful light. Post morning game drives , return to the lodge for breakfast. Check out and proceed towards Tsavo East . This drive will take about 3 to 3.5 hours. Have a packed lunch en route and Arrive in Tsavo East by evening , check into your lodge/camp. Enjoy your evening and dinner at your lodge or camp. Relax and unwind after the drive.

Day 8 - Tsavo East to Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning and proceed for game drives around 6:15 AM. Head out for a final early morning game drive in Tsavo East. The park is known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Nairobi , this drive will take about 6 to 6.5 hours. You can stop for lunch en route.

Lake Nakuru

In February, Lake Nakuru, Kenya typically experiences warm and relatively dry weather. Rainfall during February is generally low, with only occasional light showers possible. The region enjoys a lot of sunshine, making it a popular time for wildlife viewing and outdoor activities. Overall, visitors can expect pleasant conditions during this month.

Masai Mara

In February, the Masai Mara region of Kenya typically experiences warm and dry weather. Historical averages indicate daytime temperatures often range from around 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), while nighttime temperatures can drop to about 12°C to 15°C (54°F to 59°F).

Rainfall is generally low, making this month one of the better times for wildlife viewing as animals are more active and the landscape is less lush compared to the rainy seasons. February is also part of the dry season, which means sunny days with low humidity are common. However, occasional short rains may still occur.

Lake Naivasha

In February, Lake Naivasha, Kenya typically experiences warm weather with occasional rainfall. Historical averages for this month show daytime temperatures generally ranging from about 24°C to 28°C (75°F to 82°F). Nights can be cooler, with temperatures dropping to around 12°C to 15°C (54°F to 59°F).

February is part of the long rainy season, so while the month may see some rainfall, it is usually not as heavy as in other months. The area can experience scattered showers, contributing to lush vegetation around the lake. Humidity levels average around 60% to 70%, making the weather feel warm and occasionally muggy. Overall, February is a good time to visit Lake Naivasha, especially for outdoor activities, although it's wise to be prepared for short bursts of rain.

Tsavo East

In February, Tsavo East typically experiences warm to hot weather. Average daytime temperatures usually range from around 27°C to 34°C (81°F to 93°F), with cooler nights dropping to about 18°C to 21°C (64°F to 70°F). February falls within the dry season, so rainfall is generally low, with averages around 20-30 mm for the month. Humidity levels can be moderate. Overall, visitors can expect plenty of sunshine and relatively dry conditions, making it a favorable time for wildlife viewing.

Payment Policy

Deposit Payment
- Deposit is 50% of the total booking amount.
- Deposit can be paid either via a bank transfer or an online card payment.
- A 5% fee is applicable on all card payments (payment gateway charges). This is non-refundable.
- We offer bank accounts in 10 different currencies for bank transfers.
- Once you make the deposit payment you will receive a booking confirmation.

Balance Payment
- Balance can be paid via bank transfer, online card payment or with cash
- Bank payment can be done 15 days prior to the tour date (recommended 30 days prior)
- Card payment can be done 1 day prior to the tour date (recommended 7 days prior)
- A 5% fee is applicable on all card payments (payment gateway charges). This is non-refundable.
- Cash can be paid on arrival (US Dollars printed in or after the year 2009)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy
- 120 days before departure date: 5% of the tour amount is charged as cancellation fees
- Within 119 to 90 days before departure date: 10% of the tour amount is charged as cancellation fees
- Within 89 to 60 days before departure date: 20% of the tour amount is charged as cancellation fees
- Within 59 to 31 days before departure date: 30% of the tour amount is charged as cancellation fees
- Within 30 to 0 days before departure date: 50% of the tour amount is charged as cancellation fees

Note 1: In all refund cases, card processing fees (5%) or wire transfer ($25) fees will be deducted.

Partial Cancellation Policy
- If the group size reduces, the above cancellation policy applies to the canceling clients.
- In addition, the price per person for remaining clients might change as applicable based on the new group size.

Note 2: Our cancellation policy may differ for some packages based on the accommodations included, particularly for E3, E4, and E5 packages, to match the respective accommodation providers’ policies.
