Itinerary
Day 1 - Kampala to Lake Mburo (Boat Cruise & Night Game Drive)
Your journey begins with a morning departure from Kampala at 7:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, with a stop at the Equator for a quick photo session. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.
After dinner, embark on a night game drive, offering a rare opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, bush babies, and hyenas. After an eventful evening, return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Lake Mburo (Morning Game Drive) to Kampala
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, where you will spot zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, buffalo, and more. You may also opt for a guided walking safari, allowing you to observe wildlife up close.
After the game drive, check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch en route. Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon, concluding your safari experience.
