Located at a distance of 35 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro airport right between Mt Meru Wildlife Reserve and Usa River, this vintage home is one of the oldest in North Tanzania. The sanctuary was started as an orphanage for wild animals by the original owner Dr Von Nagy. Today, it is home to Colobus monkeys, buffaloes and various kinds of birds. The gift shop, swimming pool and open-air restaurant are much loved by guests. There is also a venue for conducting huge events including weddings.
