Itinerary
Day 1 - Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be picked up around 7:30 am from Kampala (or Entebbe), and head westwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Passing through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside, the 420Km journey will take about 7 hours to finish. Enroute to Queen Elizabeth National Park there will be small stopovers at spots of tourist interest.
Continuing your drive through savannah grasslands and plenty of herds of the endemic long horned ankole, you will reach Queen Elizabeth National Park by evening.
Day 2 - Game Drives and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel
Your day will begin early by 6:30 AM, the sunrise time is usually the best time to spot animals in their natural habitats. Heading off for a game drive at the break of dawn you will be able to see Africa’s highly famed “Big 5”, Bush Bucks, Giant Hogs, Antelopes, Waterbucks and plenty of birds. You will finish your game drive and return back to the accommodation just in time for a good and relaxing breakfast. In the afternoon, post lunch you will head out for a boat cruise along the stunning Kazinga channel. Cruising the channel at close proximity animals, you will be able to spot hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and Elephants bathing on the channel’s banks. After completing your boat cruise, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala
The final day of your adventure in Uganda will begin by 6:30AM. Heading out for a short game drive after breakfast, you will continue driving towards Entebbe/ Kampala. In the course of the drive, you will be passing through Lake Mburo National Park which offers great opportunity to sight zebras, Impalas and Uganda Kobs. The last stop will be Kampala (or Entebbe) and this is where you bid your farewell.
