Samburu Sopa Lodge

Located inside Samburu National Reserve, Samburu Sopa Lodge has been built to resonate with traditional architectural designs of the local community who make up majority of the workforce inside the lodge. A total of 15 cottages have been laid out on either side of the public areas, encapsulating a water hole, but leaving enough space for wild animals to roam freely and quench their thirst.

Located in the heart of Samburu National Reserve, the lodge is only one hour’s drive away from the entrance gate.

Samburu airport is a 30 minutes drive away.

The guest rooms have been constructed keeping in mind the traditional Samburu housing designs. However, the interiors have spacious floors, high ceilings and large windows offering utmost comfort. They provide clean & comfortable beds, large bathrooms, dressing tables and a veranda with wonderful views.

Single, double and triple rooms are available.

The property offers amazing views of Samburu shrublands and the hills beyond. You might catch glimpses of dik diks and gazelles in the nearby watering hole.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
