Ashnil Mara Camp

Located in one of the best game viewing areas of Maasai Mara, you will be mesmerized by the day-to-day activities of crocodiles and hippos nearby.

Ashnil Mara Camp features a restaurant and bar serving oriental, international and local African cuisines. However, the menu is minimal.

Set up close to the Mara River, a unique highlight of the tented camp is its availability of stamps and postcards. You may send these to your loved ones in the form of an indelible memory.

Located inside Maasai Mara National Reserve to its west, the tented camp is only 1 hour 10 minutes away from Talek gate.

Mara North Conservancy airstrip is 8 km away.

There are a total of 50 tents with mosquito netted coverings to keep the mosquitoes away while promising wide open views of the surroundings. There are clean & comfortable beds with en-suite bathroom facilities, walk-in closet and a sun deck to beat the heat of the day.

Single, double and triple rooms are available.

The property offers amazing views of Maasai Mara plains and the Mara River which is often occupied by crocodiles and hippos. You might also find monkeys coming close to your tents.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
