Zawadi Serengeti Camp

Located in Kemarishe Hills of central Serengeti, this tented camp named Zawadi or ‘gift’ (in Swahili) is just 2 km from Orangi River and has been designed to keep up with the concept of sustainability. You can start early for your morning game drives from here. The Great Migration is within reach of this environment friendly camp. You will be offered good food which you may enjoy on the wooden decks laid outside the dining tent/bar.

In addition to park fees of Central Serengeti national park, a statutory fees (Camping fees) of $59 to $70.8 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

Located to the northwest of Seronera, the camp is just 40 minutes drive away from Seronera airstrip.

Single, double, triple and family accommodations for up to five guests are available.

There are 6 tents with wooden furniture and simple interior decor resonating with the African savanna. There is one clean & comfortable king-size bed and a single bed, mesh windows with stunning views, en-suite bathroom, LED lighting & USB charging (both solar powered with batteries). There are verandas to enjoy the views outside.

The camp offers amazing views of sunrise as well as sunset over the vast savanna. You might see animals like buffalos, elephants, hyenas and lions.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.

The food has been rated well by most clients. Vegan BBQ can also be prepared with prior notice.
