Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge

Located on the southern rim of Ngorongoro crater, this lodge has been designed in local African style with glass bead curtains, Rhino shaped door knobs and many such detailed facets. Made up of local wood and stones, the property offers wonderful views. There is a restaurant and bar with a variety of options, evening entertainment programs by local Maasai warriors and elegant rooms with en-suite facilities. It is interesting to note that this is the first lodge constructed on the crater rim.

In addition to park fees of Ngorongoro national park, a statutory fees (Concession fees) of $59 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

The lodge is close to the exit point of crater floor road and is just a few kilometers from Ngorongoro airstrip.

There are presidential suites, junior suites and family rooms available.

There are 80 spacious suites. There are beds with clean and comfortable linens, telephone, en-suite bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar and hairdryer. There is also a private balcony which offers wonderful views.

The lodge offers amazing views of the crater floor which is abundant in its numerous wildlife species, especially from the private balconies.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.
