&Beyond Manyara Tree Lodge

Located to the west of Lake Manyara inside Lake Manyara national park, the lodge is nestled inside an ancient mahogany forest, having the forest come to life right outside the treehouse. There is an outdoor dining area with traditional dugout canoes plus an ensemble of local fabrics and artwork. The kitchen allows you to be an interactive guest in the preparation of mouth-smacking delicacies. These are served in the bomas or outdoor decks. There is a swimming pool to relax and rejuvenate. You can also get a massage or spa, work out in your room. There are fireplaces in several areas to keep the guests warm.

In addition to park fees of Lake Manyara national park, a statutory fees (Concession fees) of $47.2 per person per night will be applicable for staying at this accommodation.

The accommodation is just an hour's drive away from Manyara airstrip.

There are 9 stilted tree houses including a family suite that can accommodate around 20 guests. The rooms are categorized as singles and doubles. There is also a family treehouse suite.

The suites are made of makuti palm fronds and local timber. The interiors are warm and cozy with clean white beds, bedside lamps, mosquito nets, table, chair, safe, minibar, hair dryer, seating area, outdoor deck for dining, en-suite facilities like flushing toilet, bathtubs, hot/cold shower. The rooms are also equipped with extinguishers and satellite television.

Surrounded by large mahogany trees, you will get great views of the jungle and can see the wilderness coming to life around you as you hear bush babies, baboons and monkeys all through the day and night.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
