Manyara Best View Lodge

Located atop the Rift Valley escarpment in Mto Wa Mbu, this lodge with its en-suite facilities offer beautiful views of the Rift valley stretching across East Africa, Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro (can be seen on a clear day), Lake Manyara, some small villages and banana plantations which look distinctly spectacular, all from one single location. Hence the name ‘Best View’. You may enjoy sumptuous meals and beverages from their restaurant, bar and lounge, relax in the outdoor swimming pool or undertake various activities offered by the lodge.

Located to the north of Lake Manyara national park and Karatu-Mto Wa Mbu road by extension, it is just a 20 minute drive towards the entrance gate of Lake Manyara national park and just 3km away from Lake Manyara airport.

As mentioned in the description, the lodge offers incredible views of various well known destinations. In addition, - the entrance with an open lodge followed by a garden leading towards the infinity pool on top of the terrace is a beauty in itself. - the rooms with their private verandas offer distinguished views depending on room type. The morning sunrise while you enjoy a cup of tea/coffee is much loved by the guests. As the room type is upgraded, it offers much wider views of the surrounding areas such as the lake and escarpment. - the dining room offers a view of the infinity pool. Enjoy a glass of cocktail while you relax in the pool.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.
