Octagon Lodge

Located in Karatu, this lodge offers comfortable accommodations amidst vibrant flora and fauna. The rooms have been designed with one-of-a-kind interior decoration and they offer good privacy. These are little cabin-like structures to give you the feeling of owning your own little home. There are mud paths laid all throughout the property. Other features include a main building, restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating areas as well as indoor/outdoor pool to relax and rejuvenate.

Located between Lake Manyara national park and Ngorongoro crater, you can arrange daytime safari to both the areas. Lake Manyara airport is just 17 km away.

There are 11 wooden cottages, 11 block cottages and 5 Jameson houses. They have en-suite facilities such as a toilet and shower, fireplace, desk, chair, mosquito nets etc.

• Wooden cottages 8 twin bedded rooms and 3 king-size bedded rooms.

• Block cottages 1 room with king-sized bed, 6 rooms with 2 twin beds, 2 rooms with 3 twin beds, 2 rooms with 1 king-sized bed and 2 twin beds, 1 family room with a king-sized bed and a single bed in one room & 2 twin beds in the second room.

• Jameson house 3 rooms with 2 twin beds, 1 room with single bed, 1 room with double bed.

The well maintained gardens and narrow mud pathways give the feeling of being amidst nature.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.

The food has been rated well by most clients. There are kids’ menus as well as special diet menus available for adults.
